How do I make it look more professional and if needed what should I do to the bg?

hii, if its alright with you i think for the bg maybe you should switch it to the opposite of the red colour wheel. Bcs the character youre drawing already has red in them so i think using the opposite of red would make your character pop more and maybe add a copy of your character in the bg but make it bigger and less opacity.
But ofc i dont really work well either on drawing a bg but i hope it helps you a little bit(❁´◡`❁)
