#critiques for my character design

ok just one question you want accurate armor or do you want like fantasy armor and if accurate tell me what century you’re going for
i wasnt going for super accurate armour and took some creative liberties but i tried to stick to referencing armour from the 15th to 17th century
ooo okay so renaissance or like elizebethan era
so one note i gotta make, armor with like just full metal no paint was super uncommon so if you wanna go for a more nobility look go for a black and gold paintjob and keep it to sleek non exposed armor so that showing chainmail is a no go butttt if you want to you can add some leather straps to it
i have a few examples infact
so like you see how it keep a sleek clean aesthetic
detailed lining is everything
that was the armor craze in the renaissance
let me know if i helped
and remember. POINTY SHOES ARE EVERYTHING
wowie!! thats all rlly helpful esp those photos
the characters background is that she used to be part of nobility but now shes on her own so i wanted her to look a bit scrappy and not fully covered to reflect that but ill give her some leather straps, more detailing in the armour + the pointy shoes!! thanks
yw and im glad i helped 😁
