maybe keep in mind a bit more the flow of hair, the spike on the black side looks a bit off but otherwise it looks good.

Sorry, I wasn’t clear earlier — I’m not too concerned about the hair flow. It’s the cross-hatching or whatever that is on the black side that feels off to me; it doesn’t quite seem to fit the character. Do you have any tips on how I could fix that?

ooh i see, well what i personally do when i do cross hatching on paper is following the lines of the hair with said cross hatching. Giving shape to the strands with the hatching itself. So not draw each individual hair but rather coloring in the strands I've defined with cross hatching but i find you drawing looks good like this.
