Hiii so I thought that pose would be easy and I just started painting, but then I realized that if I draw the anatomy underneath the pillow her shoulders and upper arms make no sense.

I then startet to redraw the pose from sketch - I think the pencil one looks better ? But now it's further away from the reference image.

What am I doing wrong ?

(also I'd like to see a bit of her face like in my painted sketch)

Never done a pose like this before but I’m pretty sure that unless you were doing the pose in the photo, you want your shoulders to be lower and the chin lowers as well since unless the pillow you’re making is big it won’t cover half the face like in the painting, good luck cuh

the painting is from me.

I want to recreate the Pose from the Photo BUT with the pillow/arms a biiiit lower so we can see at least half her face : )

hii, the shoulder should be a bit bigger and unless the are very forward you can make the upper arms longer (since you said you wanted the pillow lower)
