I’m trying to improve a little but I dont know what needs fixing! Here’s some of my most recent finished pieces and a wip. If you notice something in any one (or all) please let me know so I can improve on it! my main issue is how flat they look to me so if you have advice please do share!

Hi, I think you have a really cool art style! I really like how you render hair and I think your pieces have a nice composition.
The flatness you mentioned comes from your shading technique I think, I would suggest trying to use darker shades for shading and even some cool tones like purple or blue on a low opacity layer to add some dimension to your shading. I would also suggest trying some different shading techniques as you use mostly soft shadows and blend them a lot, some harder shadows will add more dimension, as you can see in your own work, the blue piece has more depth as you have some hard line shadows and darker shadows 😁
