Hi i suggest adding a bit more detail here is an example of how I would add more detail while trying to keep ur art style (all i did was add more of a light source )

true!! i think i am prolly kinda scared to add hard edges, i was kinda trying but it was still too soft

Yes definitely im and art students and i say try charcoal it really helps out in creating those tones
There are different kinds of charcoal but I recommend the thin one (idk if it has a specific name english is my second language) also if u wanna preserve the charcoal drawing I recommend buying a spray that just makes it stick to the paper
