I’ve been trying to draw this character from Ado’s Aishite mv for a bit (literally a day after it was posted, help) and I need some help on the lighting. I’m pretty happy with how the face and hair turned out, though I’m struggling on the bonnet and clothes. Please help 🥲

Try making clothes a bit lighter and then after that add shadows, you can add highlights the same color as the highlight on her hair
Just dont overdo it tho

are you copying a different image for the bonnet? The shape is strange and I'll admit that I wouldn't know how to shade it either. So the whole thing should be redrawn and shaped in a way that you can tackle the light more easily. Most bonnets have a more "stable" flare to them. (this image is the closest i found to a soft and wavy brim)
