Hi, this is my first post here. I’m trying to figure out how to draw more anatomically realistic portraits but still keep it somewhat stylized. Could I have some feedback on how to improve anatomy as well as some suggestions on how I can move forward from this stage (as I am having trouble with rendering and coloring sometimes). Thank you so much!

looks great so far! your eyes seem to be a little too big. This is a big point for me as well! the nose bridge is also too skinny at the top in regards to the ball.
maybe the left eye (from audience perspective) is a little too left? but its so nicee
Your rendering is really good but there are a couple of problems with the proportions. I made with red the sketch thst I usually use when wanting to draw a face, I find it helps me a lot. From thst we can see that in your drawing some things are off like the nose being too much on the right, making it look like it's at a different angle than the rest of the face but also the left eye which is too much to the left and too down making it misaligned with the other eye. Also the left eye is too big to be at that angle, cause whenever you draw anything but a front face the eyes can't be the same width. The eyes are drawn more in a front facing way too, remember the eye is a sphere, like a ball, and the eyelid fall and curve over that so they can't look so flat on the side.
Also if you don't mind I can do the small changes to show you the difference it would make, I just wanted to ask first
That would be great tysm ^
add some small highlights to the hair
All I tried to do was push the nose more to thel eft so it's more centered, curve the eyes more, bring the left eye up and in the same line as the right one and keep them all within that triangle that's made between the nose and the eyes. Also the left eye was more heavily shaded at the bottom which looked weird so I dulled that down
Hope this helps! I tried to show you more on the side what I mean with that eye=ball thing and how it curves more
Thank you so much 🙏🙏 I’ll try out these edits myself and see how that looks later
