maybe try making the green more brighter, will make it pop out more especially with the bg
you think thats better?
for sure, this looks sick
thanks!!
if you wanna seperate the bg and the character even further you can brighten things on the character and darken the bg a little
but you really dont need to this looks amazing already
still thanks a lot for the advice
atp, just have fun and experiment :D
make sure u make a copy tho lol
just in case u dont like what u changed
for me I like to make like a, base painting
and then add other elements after
Damn i was working on something and you finished it already
Eh imma send it anyways
Btw this looks great
The problem with the og image is that there's not enough contract between the pants and belt stuff which you can see in the greyscale, they kind of blend into each other yk
ooooh makes a lot of sense
So you can push that by brightening the belt elements and darkening the pants, like so, which makes both elements pop more, making them both more distinct from one another
Keep in mind contrast when coloring. You can check for that by greyscaling a drawing and if in greyscale you can't easily tell the shapes apart then you need to change some tones
That's the rule I go by
Greyscaling is your best friend and the most reliable one, that and flipping the canvas. Keep those in mind when drawing
tysm for the advice
this is what i got now
Np it's my fav tip to give to everyone
although i got these swirls now
I'd advise you to maybe make the sky a bit brighter so your main character will pop more
No actually scratch that
The greyscale looks fine
So yeah something like this!
The end product looks awesome man well done
tanks!
