Idk if I am being overanalytical. However, outside help could alleviate my anxiety. I wanted to hear your thoughts about the shading and colour choices for the face and hair. At this point, I've done the hair and head fully. Any constructive criticism is welcome. I deeply desire to improve on any aspect of art. Thank you guys for your time!

it's pretty good, Better than what I do, If your being stressed you can try the ball test I do it a lot cause I'm still learning shading. Here is a demonstration of the ball test if you need one
And yes your rendering is good, (In my personal opinion) Rendering and shading is mostly stylized, So if you wanna draw something just do it how you like it but always try to improve, G'day mate.
and I like the hair btw forgot to say that -_-
Looks really good, love the shading of the hair! Overall you don't NEED to change anything. My only suggestion would be that I can't tell where your light source is from your shading and rendering placements,eg if the lights from above like the shading on the neck suggests, under the hair, and the jawline would be more shadowed and the nose would be brighter.
add your base colour/ midtone add multiply layer erase areas you want lighter blend them and add highlights if you feel it needs them but values are very important
Thanks for the advice everyone!
Not criticism - but this looks like me irl w/o red eyes i think u accidentally drew me
