How do i even colour/shade ts?

I kinda don´t understand how to do it, like digital painting is absolutely difficult, every attempt i do looks like i used the airbrush instead of colouring every part of the face and use the blend tool in 3 hours

Try to see the shadows as shapes. Some will blend and some have hard edges. You need both to look realistic.
