I finished all my oc bios for the 9 Monarch OC's I made.

I have a sort of map I'm trying to follow in order to get better.

Right now I'm trying to get better at anatomy, then I want to work on the hands, the face positions and allat, then the dynamic poses and stuff, etc etc.

I gotta sleep soon so I'm gonna leave this here and check back tomorrow.

your character designs are great and the annotations r rly nice

#

i good way to practise anatomy is think abt the range of motion in the joints

#

so practise drawing poses in which the model is moving or captured whilst moving

#

so it’s more dynamic

#

on the other hand you could learn the basic and actually composition facial features (like eyes usually being the length of an eye apart)

#

then practising the basics and applying that knowledge to a style cuz if u know the basics u can avoid drawing awkward faces

#

like the facial features being too close tgt

#

but if u don’t rly want to go in depth into anatomy of actual facial features u can just try and mimic/ study an artists style you like

#

and it’ll eventually rub off

Hmmm I feel like all your character poses are kinda floating, and I think maybe just drawing a floor would make them feel more grounded, and less floaty, overall your designs look great 🔥
