#Would you change something about this ?

Maybe the lighting changes, the color makes the hair not noticeable.
i love how you blurred the background a bit to give it some depth of field ✨ maybe i would have added a slightly blurred (or even no blurred) foreground also to give it even more depth trying not to steal attention from the main subject (the girl) of course! also i would make more shadows, interleaving them with the well lit spots. The art is beautiful by the way! I can actually imagine it in a book cover or even a comic book. 😄
Idk I tried to make em more cinematic by just changing the lightning to the back + bounce light to add some pop for the face
(dark fill all with dark soft muted purple and add a warm color for the light)
1 it gives depth and emotion
2 it fixes one major problem with the hair.. values (the one w/Black and white)
(dark Black and white is the after and the original is the left in Black and white)
Hope it helps @hidden thicket
srry it's a rough idea, you can take em either way.
thank you : D
thank you so much ! That's very helpful... also I'm glad to hear you can imagine this in a book because I drew it for an indie author to have it printed on postcards ._. so I'm extra nervous
THANK you so much !! omg thanks a bunch yes that fixes the values tremendiously, I'll try to do it this way : ) Yesterday I only added one dark orange multiply layer on 40% and erased the parts where the light hits and added a slightly pastel-yellowish overlay layer on 30% above everything to harmonize the colors. So I'll post an update here once I tried fixing the values according to your feedback, thank you ❤️
This new version got even better. Haha 😆✨️ i'm happy for helping.
so I tried to fix it.
its not as pronounced as in yours but I hope it does the trick... ?
I think I got it now
Its fine by now eh
