i think i might have added to much detail or not enough and would really appreciate some help

I don’t think this piece is overcrowded or has any large unfilled spaces. In terms of detail, are you going for a more geometric and simplistic style? If so, I’d say what you’ve currently got works perfectly well with the piece and visual theme.
