hi
what would u mean by look better?
i think it looks really really cool
i dont see much issues
No my friend tried to copy mine but he wants to know how to make it look more appealing I didn’t know how to help him so I came here
What I told him so far is that his lines look more like sketches rather than straight lines, also using a smudge tool would help with the shading
Bolding the lines that matter like the face and the hair with some of the clothing would help emphasize that part
I use a different shading technique in mine that he tried to replicate but it didn’t work out for I him I personally used hashing but because I think it’s easier but since there’s a lot of lines in his I told him to try cross hashing next time
Also use different types of pencil using just HB would only leave a little it of room for any type of shading if you cover the whole spectrum there is 8b - 4h
With them at your disposal you can easily make this 3x better
yeah thats good advice
i think ur friend intstead of wanting to make it look apealling i think he just wants it to look like yours
maybe some spots could be darker
yes pencils matter
aisde from that
his proportions r okay
and the lines i think could do with a little less of a rough look like
a bit more confidence
also this
Thank you for elaborating that for him he’s getting better though and I thank you a lot for that
