How can I make the darker shadows feel more correct ・

Use the airbrush tool, or tickle the edges (and I mean, tickle. don’t go mental with it) with the smudge tool

This’ll give it a look that makes it feel like the shadows are one together

Unless you are going for a cel shading kinda look, in which case, ignore that and use the lineart to show wrinkles in the clothes

Also, it might be that it doesn’t look right because it doesn’t have any discernible texture, un which case, use a brush that would fit the material.
