I'm making fanart for my most recent comfort character but the only problem is, I want to give him like- interesting and fun boots but his color palette makes it hard to figure out how to give him boots, not only that is that I can't draw shoes nor boots besides basic stuff, and I'm also open to any feed back on how to make it more visually interesting besides line weight

This design is actually really good, hes simple but fun to draw, good for a confort character
To make them more interesting maybe you could add yellow instead of gray, it would alredy help a lot
In the boots part, they seem like they would go well with large boots, the ones that fit good on the foot but are baggy in the ankles, like the ones you use in the rain yk, but keep them black
