Ive recently tried putting more effort and detail into faces and i guessssss im going for semi-realism? thats what my friend says but I'm not sure

The only thing you need to work on is the structure of the skulls & shading[ +proportions ].
Other than that your art is good!, keep going at it!

hair and front-facing faces. also clothing. your side profiles and 3/4s are pretty good! apart from the woman to the right of the punk guy.
also, is that dutch and strauss perchance in the second photo?
it looks like youre trying to go a bit looser on your lines, especially on the clothes. id recommend holding your pencil close to the paper and drawing with the side, making fast lines. it really gives that loose feeling.

the proportions on the face dont follow their perspective. also they look like theyre melting off their faces. the hair doesnt seem to have any weight, and should come off of the skull instead of floating there. i think the stylised way you drew hair looks so much better and prettier.
i dont really know how to describe it lol, the pencil thing. i can try to take a picture i guess
