I wouldn't say that is is something new, but I would say that this is very cute

I actually think this is pretty unique and very good in its own right. In fact I love the design and color choices alot. Not only is the character unique but the placement of the eyes and mouth and the fact that you decided to give the character a nose speak highly of your imagination alone (noses are almost a big nono in anime and chibi trying to be cute these days). I wouldnt say this needs any critique. I however would say WELL DONE!
