#need help on how to make my art look more professional

This is usually a tip I use for myself when doing concept art, it’s best to more so capture the feeling/vibe of a character rather than focusing in on their design in entirety at first. Your design is great, but in terms of personality/role it doesn’t say much. Leaning into a pose that can convey it is useful and helps to express their purpose
Most of the art books I have on video games lean heavily into it with messy designs and sketches but capturing the mood the character has in order to move on. Of course, with concept art you can always have a still of a character but usually it’s still accompanied by their expressions, personality, etc

I see! Thank you a lot. I will keep this in mind for later works. I should definitely do more to show a vibe than just their visual design
Usually I do try to do a more interesting pose for the character but I thought since this one is a robot it might be okay to do a still one but I'm not sure
