hmm, the main issue I see is definitely your line work. You should use a better grip and have more confidence with your lines. This can be trained in 5-10 minutes as a warm-up (drawing different objects , making different lines etc) also make sure you use your whole arm instead of ur wrist when drawing.

The other thing i noticed is your use of perspective on your background, wich is a very good initiative since most tend to avoid doing backgrounds, but keep in mind you need to study 1 , 2 or 3 point perspective to use them correctly on your drawing

The tip I can give just to improve the drawing is definitely clearing up the extra lines so it doesn't seem distracting

After that you can start rendering it as you want, and yes shadows help in pretty much everything!
