I really like this art style I have but I tend to have problems shading and rendering, I don't know how to make it less flat if it's not adding blush. Any ideas on how to make it cooler but without taking much from the original style? (Other sketches to get an idea of my art style)

i usually use a smudge tool, or if its trad with pencil, smudge with finger. If its a render tool, i usually use render tools by putting a lighter color of the color you want under the skin.usually called a undertone??
hope this helps <33
Remember shadows and highlights go a long way. Shadows form under areas jot hit by light and highlights where light hits most.
