What do u guys use to draw (digital) Wacom tablets? iPads? Other tablets? Phone?

Been thinking bout moving from wacom cintiq pro to an iPad and apple pen but I’m not sure at all on what programs to use on it or if it’s even the best option, any suggestions? Should I just stay with my wacom tablet?

for tablets i prefer csp, for ipads procreate is a pretty popular option and for phones ibis is pretty simple tho might feel restricted if youre moving from programs like csp but you could always check out other options across said devices like paint tool sai, medibang, krita, hipaint, sketchbook

i honestly think csp is the best option from my own experience so id recommend staying with the tablet, but id also suggest exploring your options to build up your own preference!

Hey! I use an iPad as my primary workstation and mostly use CSP although for paintings I use Procreate. Moving to a new program is always rough, but I do honestly feel like CSP is the gold standard for illustration with all the features it offers, although the UI feels a bit clunkier on thr iPad since its smaller than most computer monitors.
With that being said, Procreate is great. It's a one time payment, inexpensive, and I have really enjoyed using it. I do think it's more limited in animation capabilities, has a limit on layers, and doesn't have templates or file management for comics the way CSP does, but I have used CSP since before I switched to iPad so I'm biased

The iPad is good if you do a lot of work on the go. I got it because I went to school to study art and it was perfect for doing assignments away from home. Much easier to carry than most tablet set ups. If you get a keyboard with it, it will essentially be like a laptop, although the investment for an iPad plus all additional accesories is pretty high. You'll have to judge what's worth it to you

And while hand to eye coordination may be hard, with time it will become better and is generally good.
