its based on my roblox avatar lmao
Here it is for reference
some help before i move onto lineart
Sorry for rambling lmao, here’s what i can’t seem to get:
-
The hair…
-
how the clothing should sit
-
anything else that should be fixed that i may have missed or wtv
Things i know i need to fix that i will fix in a little:
- the ear being too small lmao
- the stand thing’s bowl being lopsided
Ok so, what I think you mainly need help on is the skull shape itself, because not all of the facial proportions line up, in a sec ill pull up a skull and redline to help🤺
Made a video cuz im lazy for multiple screenies
I think it would help to study head and side profiles because those are especially hard🤺
And the best way to get started on them is to use guidelines
Giving the hair its own volume is very important to making you drawing pop and adding a silhouette to your character
The video is so low quality heres a ss💀
What I use for reference with ears, and in side profiles especially is that the ear lines up with the middle/top of your eye and the nose lines up with the bottom of your nose or your nostrils depending on facial structure cuz everyone’s different
The lips have dimension in that the top one is more like a triangle and the bottom is more rounded
Ok I go now happy arting🏃
