gorgeous work! i think genuinely you just need to push your darks. i chose a brushed steel to pull as reference but as you can see, even in black and white, there's these very clear deliniated lines between these dark bits that r reflecting the shadow of the room and the bright lights
i find working on a 50% grey bg can help me use more bright and dark tones in my rendering because you get to see just how much it pops off that base grey and gives you a reference for what the neutral tone is going to be
