As you can probably tell I'm still experimenting with the rhythm/riff
I'm trying to make it a warm, fuzzy song
I want to eventually add on a drums and bass track myself but I'm bad combining two tracks
I've had a few friends tell me it sounds good but a few others thought it didnt really have the personal feel I'm going for
what‘s the chord progression?
I'm unsure which chords, I'm about to head to work otherwise I would map it out. I do know the notes though
It's a slide from 9 on the a string to 11 and I also hit the e string open
Then I go back to 9 and 7
Repeat it
Than hit 11 and then 9 on the d string
Etc
I think f# into g#? Possibly
i just played it on my guitar, it has nothing with sharps and flats
try sticking to smaller note jumps
and try to add some variation to the chords
everything else is good i think
Will do, I should have time next weekend when I'm off work to mess on it some more,
Yes my plan is to fill it out but I'm a beginner with composing so I'm experimenting a lot
Does it have the warm/fuzzy effect? With the notes I chose?
The effect comes from the choice of dynamics, instruments and tempo
Yeah the effect is there
Ok that's good, it's what I'm looking for
Also do you have any tips for adding in a bass line and or some acoustic guitar? I can make a bass line and a acoustic part I'm just bad at playing it together at the same tempo
