I definitely think the realism (Ex. The last drawing) doesn’t really fit with your style but I see what you were going for

#

My favorite has to be the one with the star on the eye

Thank you!

#

How do you think I could color realism better?

I would recommend you shade with different colors

#

Not bright ones tho

#

Lemme make a small example

#

See, instead of shading by just using colors on the same shade, use different color shades entirely, so for my example, red for darker tones and yellow for lighter ones

#

It’s more of a spectrum

#

But you gotta have plenty of variation :3

#

In my drawing, it’s yellow for light, red for dark, and orange for normal shade, but you can do this with literally any color happycat

Huh

#

I just use a random color on multiply/color burn

#

Manual shading is harder but is much more worth it

#

I either do that or I color pick the skin, go to the very corner then down where it’s dark

#

Ehhh I disagree

Then multiply and opacity of like 35

#

And same for the light but I do add

I think some dynamic shading with shadows would look good, since your colors pop out!
