Hello! I love the look of the start of this piece, and your blending is super nice. I find though that your values are very similar, which when paired with the nice blending leaves the form a little undefined. I definatly think you should keep your blending but I would darken up your shadows a bit

I can also see the light source you are going for (and if you want to keep it soft that is perfectly fine) but one thing that can create a lot of visual interest in any piece is a variation in shadow types

Right now all your lighting is super smooth and there can be some fun shapes made if you add some more cast shadows!
