Seeking color/shade/space assistance for the ground and background

I know you're probably wanting an autumnal look for the colours by what you've chosen, however you want to keep in mind you want the animal to pop since it's the main focus. Try also to make the ground more one colour (additional colours should try to be blended in a bit more subtly and less like streaks). It will be hard to do all of it, but in some places, spike the grass upwards to help give an idea of how long the grass is supposed to be
As for the sky, I feel just some normal sunset colours in a gradient would look nice ^^ if not sunset, then really any gradient to stop it looking like a solid colour (you could also add clouds to help with this)
