is the torso turning towards the camera, while the legs move the opposite way?
or is the character floating towards the viewer, no twisting or bending?
I'm not sure what the motion intent here is
This was the reference i used. I dont know exactly where I flubbed up
hmmmmm
i changed it up a bit but it more or less shares the basics
so maybe something like this
if not this, you could kick out the left leg like how the right is in the ref image
a straight out leg with the top of the foot level with the leg always looks fine
You made the torso longer too?
slightly, yea
and got rid of the muscle behind the shoulder
it seemed too burly and threw off the angle, atleast I think
like even this straight leg would be cool
actually nvm, first is better
I'll try it
right on, good luck, hope that helps
thank you
I think u can use some guidelines and shapes to make sure the proportions are right!
how would I go about doing that?
basically just breaking down what you already got into raw basic 3D objects and seeing how they all fit together and if it makes sense
atleast that’s what I think he’s talking about
Exactly
I think this graph will help u
Imagine the body is transparent and draw this on the back
@fair perch so would it be kinda like this?
Does it look proportional though?
I think the chest is a bit smaller than it should be
Try lining it out but keep the scheme underneath
I cant quite see since its overlapping the drawing
But it should be proportionally correct!
It is proportional
how can tell so easily
Did it too fast but
The size is good
U should never look at anime characters for reference
Always use real people
i dunno man. I see sum people built like one piece characters /j
