Dont quit, maybe try studying anatomy and how things look instead of going all out on details at first. Idk though
You definitely improved over these years! I think what you could do is add contrast to the face, it’s hard to tell what’s going on there.
If you’re looking for a general direction where to head, you should look more into anatomy of the body (for this case the structure of shoulders and neck)
dw bro. i've been drawing for liek 9 years and only js started improving this year bcs i started watching tutorials and working on anatomy:)
This is a good thing to note. I think the fact you've been drawing for years and haven't been improving is exactly why you shouldn't quit! Clearly you love art so much you kept doing it for years even though your art doesn't meet your own expectations.
I believe you have a lot of potential to improve it you gave it time and serious practice.
honestly i dont think you should quit, if youve been drawing for so long you must have some sort of passion for it i don't think you should give up on it! try studying the basic fundamentals (proportions, anatomy, perspective etc)
No don't quit! You just need to focus on the basics more like anatomy, shading, depth, accuracy:) One thing that helped me with this as an artist of 12 years is drawing anime! It teaches u shading, outline accuracy, and anatomy! Once u get those skills, you can apply them to realistic art! Hope this helps!
