i'm struggling with anatomy and i'm trying to branch out and stop using too much help from others and references and actually start drawing normal human anatomy ig.
i am trying to do this pose, but making the character do a soft blep expression and look at the camera, for an oc i'm trying to design. any and all advice will srsly help this young artist. my oc is a muscular kinda guy but is pretty stupid and is just super sweet so yeah.

i could show you whar works for me if you'd like
first i map out the basic form of the body
then i use circles, you're better off using shapes rather then circles, but its just how i taught myself
then with the mapped out body, I transfer it to whatever im using, digital, trad, wtv, and use the ref for the structure and what not
like the arm forms, legs, ect
but thats just how i do it, im sure someone else may know something else

Your biggest help is gonna be using shapes to create the form of the body! it will really simplify the process using rectangles and circles to create forms :3
