I used ai as a reference simply because I liked how the image looked
Though I will say, I found the image in Pinterest, and it was tagged with reference photos for artists, so.. idk

You can use Ai if you like the look of it, its ur choice. But majority of artists arent very welcoming of ai

How does it look?
You mean the lineart? Looks pretty neat although you can make it even better by using a diff brush/pen. unless you purposely make it to be that way. Also I think it's fine using AI images as refs, it's a free source and mostly no copyright involved.
