i saw this pose, and it looks cool, i wanna try to draw it, but im not sure if it looks alright. i know there's just cool poses irl that does not translate well into drawing, is this one of those "bad" poses to draw? thankyou

not sure what you mean by there being poses that dont translate well, sounds like a skill issue more than anything. that being said this looks great, you might want to touch up the fingers jsut a tad and slightly reposition the head to be more accurate to the reference by rotating it towards the camera slightly (unless you're satisfied with that position, which also looks good, just a suggestion)

i watched a couple of art videos b4, that few of them saying there's poses that just dont translate well in a drawing, like composition wise. example that they gave mostly when you have your arms directly inline behind something that make it looks like your character dont have arms or smth. or for better example is the one i provide in the picture, we know that the left arms are just drop down, and the elbow making 90 dagree angle, but in 2d space it looks like she grew arm from her stomach

and for the suggestion im kinda intentionally making her head tilted waw less from the references, so yeah kinda happy w the facing currently, and yes i definitely will refine the hands and body more, it's still a rough sketch afterall
