hii ! so cast shadows like the nose would be darker and more harsh (not blended) maybe define the adams apple and make the neck tendon line a bit deeper and darker
I feel like the lips and nose need to be a bit lower 🙂 Rather than that I feel like you might be relying on blend a little too much while shading/coloring it looks a little fuzzy
the angle sorta looks like 3/4 angle with the camera just a wee bit above the character, not directly in line so they look like they are sorta looking up. but the face looks rather flat and the adams apple is directly on the side of the neck (which should be aligned with the direction the face is facing unless they are twisting their body).
just did a rough loomis head. the ear is a bit too low and the nose and mouth are a bit too high.
im not very good at explaining but i hope this helps!
I had some fun with this one
I tried rearranging the proportions a bit I thought the mouth and nose were too close together and that the head was a bit too big
Then I popped a gray scale filter on top of the drawing. Using grayscale is a very useful way to see how your values are reading.
I thought that you needed some darker darks and lighter lights. So I pushed the values to a more extreme level to add some contrast
So this is what it looks like when I put the color back in
Hopefully this can help you out a bit
