Macro to heal a specific pet
Macro to cast recall on a specific rune/runebook
macro to apply poison to a specific weapon.
Im sure others can come up with more. Either way idea is that we can save a specific target to our macros.
While we are on the topic last target is very inconstant on if it works on items in the backpack

couldnt find any issues with its functionality. Seems fine. Only part worth noting, and imo not a huge issue, when I record and target a runebook for recall as an example it does not use target object I need to add it. For a macro to heal a specific pet it added target object just fine when using recording
Id use target object for such a macro but interesting to note this does not work
as my juv dragon is the only one on screen Id expect it to target it

targettype will grab the first occurence of the graphic in the world. TargetObject instead will use the serial (unique). I cant replicate the issue on recording. THe recording function uses targetself or targetobject only

so the macro i had above was not healing my dragon. When you say world do you mean the entire server or the entire shard or just what is within range of your client to see?
notice when I cast recall on my runebook target option is not supplied.
if I manually set target object it works fine. But recording does not pick it up
So i played with target type and if I use something like a rune book in my bag it works but if set to a mobile, tested with my pet, it doesnt seem to.

I think we are clear but obviously if I wanted a macro to specifically heal my pet I would use "target object" but I could see uses for Target type on mobiles for example target a specific type of mob at a champ spawn.
I think where target type will really shine is to handle issues such as "target the instrument you want to use". But just testing the new options made available and found target type doesnt work with mobiles. If that is intended I think its fine but giving feed back on what I see.
