i've a problem: The launcher asked me to update, so I did.
Norton blocked launch of client because it was "suspected virus." I created an exception, but the client wouldn't launch. I opened the launcher, pressed play, and nothing happened. I tried redownloading the entire package, creating a new folder, and reconfiguring everything, but absolutely nothing started. Only the launcher screen remained.
Even uninstall Norton and the client does not start.
I just tried reinstalling .net and VC_redist, but it still doesn't work.
Until I updated the launcher, I had no problems. Even the first time I installed it a few months ago, I received a Norton warning, which I resolved by creating an exception, but now it won't launch at all. Even after creating the exception, I don't get any error messages or anything else; nothing simply happens.
Any solutions?

With the latest update things should go much smother, as the binaries are now signed and thus typically trusted more by anti virus vendors.
From what I can see, you've done all the steps I would have suggested as well.
One more thing: please go to the ClassicUO subfolder that sits in the same directory as your launcher. Open ClassicUO.exe directly. What happens? If nothing happens, open a terminal/comand prompt, go to that directory and run the exe from there. That might show a bit more output.
There are multiple ClassicUO application crash errors, including an invalid name and module error: vulkan-1.dll.
And in the .net framework (which I had already reinstalled and am trying to reinstall after removing it). I also installed the latest version of all available drivers (especially video card
Installation path is correct, everything was working fine until yesterday's update.
I tried launching the game from the terminal with the command: .\ClassicUOLauncher.exe /gldevice:OpenGL
and it works... is there a less complex way to do it, perhaps by modifying a shortcut? (I tried, but maybe I'm doing something wrong)
I disabled the graphics acceleration on my graphics card (GeForce GTX 1650) from the system and the game starts normally. It seems absurd to me... until yesterday it was fine!
We have updated the library ClassicUO uses to interact with the graphics hardware. SDL v2 to v3. Maybe there are quirks for the new version with your graphics card? Not sure. You can force OpenGL in the launcher by editing the settings and switching to the "Nerd" section.
