Hi @balmy jewel, have you tried going through the steam deck section in #hades2-faq ?

Yes. Have tried it all!

Have also tried vsync on/off, setting 60fps cap vs 90, fullscreen/borderless, etc. Even wiped my deck entirely.

Hades 1 however does not exhibit the issue. No stutter on auto save.

We aren't seeing anything off in the log file. Do you have the game installed on an external SD card?

No. Internal ssd of steam deck.

I do see a frame time spike when the auto save happens

Hades 1 btw does not have this problem on my steam deck. No frame time spike during auto save 🤷‍♂️

I capture some video, but frankly in the video you can barely tell but when playing on device it’s more noticeable. That said the top left corner you can see a small frame time spike.

Nope. Only got decky to capture this video, and just uninstalled it

But as I said if you watch the video, you might not see the stutter besides the frame time graph

My save folder shows like seven backup saves for “profile 1”. Is that normal?

Yeah that is normal

I was able to reproduce this on PC, so it's not unique to anything on your deck, or on steam decks in general
