Oh, I'm proud of this one! Aside from an EM4 clear, I did it with one of the trickier weapons for me to work with, plus I got the Lambent Plume that high! The two Hammer mods definitely helped recoup HP I lost to sloppy defense, and all in all, a fun run for me!

First EM4 attempt was a success. Basically an Athena deflect and artemis crit and call build. Also had the quick favor for auto gauge gain and the gauge on crit boon.

Tried a darkness-free run. It was a nervous one, but surprisingly I did not die. Exchanged pom keepsake for acorn for last area, and that saved me. Overall, a harder experience that EM4+BP1+MM, despite nearly twice less heat.

the final mirror costs 4000 darkness took me 1 week ( it wasn't really that long honestly but I don't have much time to play and I traded stuff for 500 darkness quite a few times)

Tried recreating an old run, turned out as OP as the previous one.... I had another hammer perk that gave +3 dmg for every special arrow I hit & a boon that made enemies take more dmg if they were weak... the synergy was WACK

I just narrowly beat ||Extreme Measures 4 Hades|| for the first time ever, after a series of defeats at ||his|| hands, on a run that was more meant for unlocks and prophecies than being frontloaded for strength.

That fight is amazing, and I'm glad I found this game all the way back when Asphodel was as far as you could go.

I stumbled on this build entirely accidentally, used artemis special to farm marks and used special + attack (with crit + weak) to deal high damage. Was angling for a duo (post-credit spoilers: ||Persephone's boon seemed really into upgrading the ares dash||) but ended up settling for a size and gravity upgrade from Ares. Blade rift did do quite a bit of damage with Artemis making all damage critable, though.

Started a new save file (regular mode), managed to beat hades after only three runs (when I first started the game, it took me 23 attempts), and of course it happened to be with Aegis. A few things that made this run especially harrowing:

No keepsakes or Cthonic Companions available
No access to Ares, Hermes, or Demeter boons, who all only showed up in the next run
No work orders from the House Contractor, who also only showed up after this run
Daedalus Hammers just began to show up, but I only managed to encounter one, at the very beginning of the run
VERY minimal mirror investment (effectively Routine Inspection 2, and then some)
No zone NPC encounters (e.g. Sisyphus, Eurydice, Patroclus) available
Un-upgraded weapons, no option to choose different aspects
Even though I got a rare quality Heartbreak Strike, it only boosted damage by 90% (un-pommed), which might be the lowest possible boost.
Due to the aforementioned lack of damage, even with Pulverizing Blow, enemies took a really long time to die, hence why the run took 35 minutes.

So, I was doing a heatless run, trying to get Hermes' Bad News boon (didn't get it btw), and ended up with a build that dealt a ton of damage with Ares' and Athena's boons, and made it so that I couldn't even be harmed. I didn't lose any health whilst fighting Hades. Kinda wished I was doing a heat run with that build...

One of my tactics is to take the bloom (+1 to boons after every 4 encounters), grab the Chiron bow and just grab something for a special. Use rerolls to replace with something better if necessary, but otherwise only really take non-levelable boons. I let the bloom do the rest, as well as me picking up coin/darkness/gems/poms. Sell off unneeded boons at the wells if I'm forced to take something I don't want/need.

I believe that forcing a god via keepsake does put it in the 'pool', which effectively does give an extra % to have their stuff spawn. I'm not sure if the effect of putting it in the pool that way is as strong a factor in it turning up again as having a 'natural' god

Note a heroic lvl 3 in chamber 8 Tartarus, lol (started as a rare Ares, rerolled into Epic replacement by someone else, I don't remember, then rerolled into a Heroic Aphrodite - replacements keep the level and are +1 rarity to entice you xD)

Wanted to see if I could make Skull Earring work for anything and ended up with this Hera bow build. 3,084 damage per shot at the end. High Tolerance and Positive Outlooked were helpful for not dying while also staying below 30%.

Dodge chance is multiplicative, not additive

#

To be more specific, instead of:
15% + 20% + 19.2% = 54.2

It is most likely calculated as this, with 1 being 0% dodge chance:
(1 - 0.15) * (1 - 0.20) * (1 - 0.192) = 0.54944 = (1 - 0.45056)

So you had roughly 45% dodge chance, as the number being subtracted from 1 is the percentage bonus

Very solid athena cast build. Interesting to note, with merciful end, it's actually more DPS to cast one at a time, rather than all at once, since each attack will only trigger doom once. It actually makes for a more steady stream of dps than bursty.

seriously tho the fates REALLY liked me on this run. Special does more dmg per hit and has +4 shots AND it had crit on it. Was basically melting the screen by tagging enemies with attack and one shotting them with chiron special. ||EM4|| ended in like 30 seconds literally not joking at all.

Totally doable if lucky enough... the bloom gives +1 to a random boon after every 4 encounters (Styx has a LOT of encounters if you go thru all the tunnels), then you can find a duo boon that gives a +1 to all poms (so a normal pom becomes a +2, a double pom becomes a +3) so you try to get the poms, you could ask Eurydece to give a +4 if you meet her...

All you gotta do is make sure to ever have ONE levelable boon to make sure the random +1's apply to it

Chiron crit builds do not mess around. Ignoring the lvl 5 call, I was still doing massive DPS. The call alone took Hades to half hp in his second phase. I wonder if it could have 1shot him if not for the HP gate.

Heat 0, first victory, took me 132 years. It was really bad untill last floor. I got hermes +3 dashes, the duo for health regen if no death def. I used the anvil to reroll my hammers, got poop for my build. Hades fight took literally 15 minutes cuz every time I went under half hp I just started running away until it came back up. Never been so proud and ashamed of myself at the same time.

@fair gate so I'm personally using a poseidon stygius aspect cast build, which isn't fastest (p sure exagryph hestia aspect is fastest) and then starting out with poseidon keepsake, getting flood shot, then trying to focus down the mirage shot boon as fast as I can, then flurry cast, fully loaded, et cetera, anything to amplify casts
