||Completing Hypnos' favor involves witnessing a series of events between him and Thanatos. To start, Hypnos will tell Zagreus that Thanatos has said some things to him that make him feel as though he's displeased his brother, and Zagreus states he will talk to Thanatos on Hypnos' behalf.
After Zagreus confronts Thanatos about Hypnos, periodically between runs Zagreus will encounter the brothers engaged in conversation. Thanatos will repeatedly criticize Hypnos' work ethic until finally seeming to discover a way to help Hypnos focus. Thanatos then praises the quality of his brother's improved work and apologizes for treating him badly. Afterward Hypnos will thank Zagreus for speaking to Thanatos, completing his favor.||

Apollo is probably the biggest absence in terms of the gods. There are others. I mean, I'd love to see Hecate and Hephaestus and the Fates and so on... but Apollo is very much 'part of the family'.

I reset a run where a specific story-advancing dialogue happened
and then when I did another ran that dialogue didn't happen but instead the game progressed like it already did
and now the game just repeated the same dialogue
But I assume it will just sort itself out

Can anyone help me figure this out? I have the locked heart for Thanatos which I assume is until I do his favor. I've done the death approaches event with him about 7 times (yes I won them) since the heart locked and even tried to do what I heard was the favor quest to clear hell without his help. However no matter what I do I can't even talk to him anymore or gift him anything. Any ideas on what it might be? Please @ me if you might know!

@wraith urchin Thanatos' favor is not mentioned, and acts more as a narrative event between Zagreus and Thanatos.
Beating Thanatos after giving him 6 Nectar will randomly prompt a discussion between the two about Zagreus being powerful enough to escape the Underworld without Thanatos' help. Once Zagreus proves his strength to Thanatos, Thanatos can be given Ambrosia the next time he is encountered in the House of Hades.

Just got to the epilogue, done almost everything in the game, but i can't figure out how to make Dusa come back. I had maxed out her affinity, but never got the dialogue in Zag's room, she was fired by Nyx and she was just gone. Now i cannot use her chtonic companion (Zagreus says something like "Dusa's not here" if i try), which sucks, 'cause i had not unlocked its entry on the codex yet. Anyone knows if she actually comes back at some point? Thanks

|| I unblocked it maxing them out w/ nectar, then you need to pay the house contractor 3 diamonds or smth to regain access to the administrative chambers, THEN a dialogue with Achilles lets you know Nyx knows where Orpheu's contract is, talk to Nyx, she tells you where to find it, get the contract to the house contractor, pay for it & then talk to Orpheus. It goes w/o saying that you'll need multiple runs through the game to do this since it costs diamonds. ||

The heavens includes lightning. I assume there's simply an overlap with other gods, especially given comments about Lucifer.
There are overlaps even within the pantheon itself too. Athena and Ares are both war gods, Artemis and Apollo are both gods of archery/hunting etc.

The impression that I got was that while, say, Lucifer might be mentioned in game (therefore implying that the world SGG are working in has multiple pantheons) it works like Greek myth always has done; one pantheon falls and another rises.
First you had the old gods like Uranus and Gaia etc, then the Titans, and then the Olympians. If the norse pantheon happens in this world (and it doesn’t necessarily have to at all) then I would assume it happens later.

EM4 is a lot harder then without. The three phases part isn't that bad. The new moves you learn eventually. But Hades summoning mini-bosses during first phase is super annoying if you get a bad roll. Cerberus is really hard to dodge. The healing can be a killer if you have a lower damage run. It all just adds up to be a real pain.
