No, that doesn't seem to be necessary. When you have the quest the dialogue completes automatically. It's in the fated prophecy list.

Though, completing that might be a prereqisite, so keep doing that anyways if you don't already have everyone maxed.

It's not guaranteed. You might be in another dialogue chain or you might not have the prerequisites complete. It took me ~5 tries to get it.

I'm somewhat enjoying the fact that, aside from the obvious unlock that last room in the House and the other cosmetics for around the House, the game has not allowed me to do a lot of bounty hunting, so I'm playing a regular run again and my goodness, I forgot that normal runs doesn't have 3 waves filled with 20 or so wretches spawning in a small room. I did, at least, learn of the new attack for the Elysium boss and Theseus getting a buff that, I guess, is a new attack in itself. :3

Dash upper is annoying to pull off but for most fights you don't really need to apply it more than once.

In boss fights, yeah, but outside of that a single instance was enough to utterly ruin whatever happened to be unfortunate enough to get tapped by it.

Also goes super well with actually having Ares on the Special.

I don't even normally use dash-upper but the damage on it is great (so long as you don't get hit by your target) and the normal attacks are still pretty fun to use (especially if you're like me & got Athena on them.) It seems to be pretty forgiving on its timing so that helps

@tropic bison @lunar kiln for reference ares has dialogue for making 100 kills, 1000 kills and 10000 kills. the 10k one is what finishes the prophecy. after 1k is when you should eventually have some dialogue pop up about ares being frank with his own intentions, which activates the prophecy

you arent guaranteed to get aspect dialogue right away if there is other dialogue queued up. so long as you meet requirements it will pop up eventually

Basically, just keep doing the standard answer stuff to most questions. Keep doing runs, keep gifting nectar/ambrosia and advancing storylines with characters, and a bit of RNG too for dialogues.

It's not a very straightforward list of requirements to easily guess, FYI. You can probably figure out a portion of them but not all of them, especially since you might have completed some of the requirements already. Assuming my info is correct 🙂

There's this one called War-God's Bloodlust. ||How do I actually get it? Is it a prophecy in game or just an achi? As far as I understood you need to kill 10k enemies and report back to Ares. I've slain around 43k enemies since I started playing before 1.0 of course. ||

Forging bonds is about as important as buying every renovation for the house. Meaning it is absolutely necessary and should be done at any cost.
