@manic yoke I like Aphrodite special and any % increase on attack. The DPS on them is insane. Extra dashes lets you take the damage on the mirror and the hold button to spam dash mechanic makes backstabbing really easy.

Other than RNG rolls on dialogue, is there any specific requirement to unlock relationship/hearts? Specifically for Cerberus and Hypnos. Think I have exhausted their unique dialogues too. Got everyone else to max (||other than persephone||) but having no luck on gifting more nectar/ambrosia to those two.

It's a little ambiguous, but I think not. Historically she's a virgin goddess and would kill anyone who tried to make a move on her. In game I think she's just a bit thrown off since nobody on olympus treats her like Zagreus.

You've just gotta keep doing runs and talking to characters then, I guess. There's an RNG component and Nyx is involved in a lot of other dialogue chains as well.

It would make sense to me that getting to True Ending/Credits doesn't really require much more than what people have already figured out: ||just requiring 10 completions||

I got a question about story-progression. So I've been playing this game since it got launched on Steam, but I haven't played in a patch or so. I restarted my game to get all of the characters fresh and just get invested into it all again, but I was able to beat the final boss in my eighth attempt and see the new stuff that replaced the joke endings. My question is: does this affect any story/lines that I would've heard if I had just kept losing? Am I "sequence-skipping" to some degree?

@quaint wadi Start a run. First time you are offered a Call, take it (even if it's "bad"). Continue the run, and pick that God/Goddess boon whenever offered. A secondary god/goddess should be offered more or less (the game tends to offer you a lot of boons for a select few gods/goddesses per run). Pretty soon, you'll get Trial of the Gods with your two primary gods/goddesses offered as options. Obviously, pick the god/goddess that isn't your call. Build up your gauge by dealing damage but make sure not to clear, since you might have to throw the room--taking damage drastically increases your God Gauge.
If you get offered passive god gauge from Hermes, take it and you can just dash around waiting if you don't want to sabotage your run.

||Zag finds his mom, Persephone, in a garden just beyond the Styx temple in Greece. This garden is somewhere between Hades and the Mortal Realm, so none of the gods can find her. Zag learns that he was stillborn and that Nyx revived him. This revival ties him to Hades, so he dies shortly after each conversation with Persephone. Persephone didn't know that Nyx revived him; she fled shortly after his birth believing her son to be dead. Hades never reached out to her because he believed that the other gods on Olympus would retaliate if they found out. After more conversations, Persephone eventually returns home. @rotund mortar to clarify, this advice goes for almost all storylines in Hades. If you're certain you have the prerequisites after some searching, but X character won't give you progression after a few runs, it's likely not bugged--you just need to keep at it, since it's slightly RNG to get the dialogue progression you seek sometimes. Doubly so if the character you're talking to is involved in a few storylines--they might be "stuck" finishing one storyline of dialogue first before giving you the one you want.

It's up to you how you want to play the game! If you feel like you're "ahead" of the game (compared to where the game thinks you "should" be), then insta-dying in Tartarus to advance story is reasonable. 🙂

They made it a bit easier since bosses give gems on kill as well as darkness. Just run the weapon that gives you extra darkness and you'll farm up a good amount in no time.

@leaden fjord IMO, ||Persephone Keepsake is busted strong. At max rank, every 4 chambers is a +1 Random Pom? Just slap it on and keep it on for the entire run and you're getting like 7-8+ free Poms per run. It works on each mini-chamber in Styx too. Hades Keepsake is alright; I'm sure you can build around it for fun but I don't think it's amazing. Regular 1/4 bar usage doesn't seem amazing, I only think it's useful if you get the Greater Call but most of the time in most chambers you won't get there.||

If you're talking about the Fated Prophecy to buy one of every item from Charon, note that there's an alternative item in his shop called "Touch of Styx" and it is different than "Kiss of Styx", and you're probably missing ToS. Hint on how to get Touch of Styx: ||you need to have Stubborn Defiance equipped, not Death Defiance!||

@lunar kiln Not yet but I have the same problem with Achilles and Patroclus. :P I have given them 6 each and now they're locked because ambrosia would be the next one. I'm thinking that I might have to trigger additional dialogue with Patroclus. So giving them nectar to max is mandatory, right? At least I know I still need to give Eurydice some.

Infernal Arms should be easy to complete, unlocking all aspects isn't that secretive (though I also have a section in my guide about how to unlock the new aspect released in the 1.0 patch, if that's the only one you are missing).
