I had an insane run earlier, it was my first clear and I got chaos and Poseidon boons which upped my darkness and gem amounts

The darkness cost is 8888 for nyx’s request

By the time i got to that point recently i’d already gotten that amount having mostly filled out the mirror (was saving up for the 10k one and there’s not much else to spend it on)

It’s pretty easy to get at least 1000 with dark thirst plus a chaos boon on an easy peasy run from bosses alone

Someone said that Zeus heart unlock is from talking repeatedly to zeus-hades-demeter though it feels like it’s not limited to just them - nyx in particular probably advances it. That’s not to say i haven’t not been talking to everyone but do i need to chat with any other olympians? (Everyone else is maxed out) Maybe there’s a specific duo boon to do?

Some hammers are also incompatible with each other. For example, if you take Flurry Strike with the spear, you won't be able to get any attack charge hammers since Flurry Strike removes that feature.

But then someone mentioned how Lucy is the only Legendary Aspect (so far) to take place in the past of Hades as opposed to the future, and what its Christian roots imply for the Greek-based pantheon, and my mind leapt into a world where what we've played so far is like, one-third of the game, which becomes a bigger tale about the six Infernal Arms and how they could destroy the world, or something.

But at the same time I'm not a bit of the writer that the SGG team is, which is why I cook for a living and just play video games.

3 unique dialogues

I actually have died on purpose to Asterius several times trying to activate Hypnos dialogue about it, but it never seems to progress. I've had 2 unique dialogues I think but he hasn't said any more since

at least 3 deaths to asterius, 2 to theseus and an extra to whoever, you just need to die in the arena. so. die to asterius → hypnos first inquires about getting an autograph → die to asterius an additional two times. die to theseus → hypnos remarks on that being an honour → die to theseus again → hypnos asks about getting the autograph of his "big bull buddy", and then an additional line from dying in the arena and hypnos remarks on their combined effort and.. you guessed it, the autograph

you do have to die to asterius first for the entire chain to even start

just keep tabs on who you died to and what the dialogue was and count it up

I've been trying to start with Zeus and then see other Gods

you're required to see at minimum 7 other opinions about zeus from other gods, so that may be whats hanging you up perhaps

I probably either just have lots of random dialogue to get through or the RNG is not on my side, because they don't seem to want to say anything about Zeus

the other thing of note is when zeus remarks on wanting to reconnect with hades and zag relays that message, much to his father's disdain

@onyx leaf both miniboss and boss encounters count for asterius, it doesnt really matter where you encounter him so long as you die to him

How does the Charon prophecy work exactly? Do I have to fight him in back to back runs?

I think you've to defeat Charon once, wait for the prophecy to trigger via Hermes and then after that defeat Charon two times in a row.

From what I've noticed you've to defeat him two more times after the prophecy is triggered, the first attempt doesn't count.

There is no sun inside the House of Hades. (Chariot of Helios not included, it says).

So if there is a fixed light source instead, the shadow will always point in the same direction. Meaning the sundial will always show the same time.

And whenever Zagreus says "It's just you and me now King", my brain just hears him calling Theseus kitten.

And it's all the better.

and using ||Antos|| is weird for me. I didn't think too much about it, but the first few times I used it, I had to ask if anything happened because I know ||Achilles and Patroclus spawn and assist|| but I be so busy all over the screen that I hardly see any changes. Just hear dialogue and then they supposedly disappear.

if anything i see zag and hades try to reach some sort of mutual understanding, but i dont think the tension between them will ever truly be resolved, and frankly it doesnt need to either.
