1. His axe, its a labrys, but the look of it is quite weird

Asterius is noble and kind that do his job in game, but in the books and the legends he was supposed to be the monster at the heart of the Labyrinth, so if that doesnt make him insane he would be more psychopathic or make him really savage because he is rarely around humans, and most of the time he just eats them

it is not blunted, its curved, theres a difference. katanas are made with differential hardening so the edge cools slower while the other part cools faster, which makes it contract, and creating the classic curved look

Ok so i played way too much the past few weeks, finally getting a bunch of clears and working my way through getting other upgrades. Willing to bet that in 1.0 all signs point to a reveal that Something Terrible Has Happened on the overworld and It’s Probably Demeter’s Fault. Papa Hades and Than are all but telling you this. Persephone’s disappearance means the earth is quite possibly starving, if not in the midst of an ice age. Helios/Apollo don’t appear to feature yet either, so there’s any number of ways things could go. Who’s to say the whole pantheon was happy with their Titan parents getting chopped up?

While I doubt they'd go too deep in details over how the Titans were, having killed Cronos and whoever else were Titans (I doubt they really killed Gaia, though if they did, RIP to her, I guess she really was evil). The Overworld is definitely suffering from something, partially in response to Demeter's eternal winter, a reaction to the "death" of her daughter Kore Persephone. Everyone on Olympus (to my knowledge) have already had their grievances over it but wish she would lighten up. It's been... years? since her passing.

But I am curious how things plan to transpire after v1.0 is released. I'd obviously think the route with the ending won't be a direct "there's Persephone!" But it'll probably be a continual "force Zag back home but with newer details on where he should go, now that he's reached the surface and gone a certain distance."

Erebus can only be entered at a certain heat level, 5, 10, 15 afaik. Any gold laurel reward can be found in it, except the rewards are better. Heart gives 50 HP instead of 25, Gold gives 200 gold, better boon rarity, etc.

They're tricky because i usually take out the exalted first since they follow you around and are pretty dangerous but after a while butterflies are all you can see on the screen and get annoying

I had four Soul Catchers in a chamber due to JS and a roiling curse on top, and those things can cover a lot of area with butterflies if you let them.

Good question if they actually have a limit, but even if there is, it would be so high the question is academic.

For as messy as the Greek pantheon is, the way it's been portrayed in the game has been great and really hones in on that notion of "those kooky Greek Gods, gotta love em, gotta stay 20 million miles away from em"

||Personally for me I love the new dialogue for Poseidon in the recent patch. He always came across as an insufferable braggart but the recent dialogue kind of reveals more depth to his character and whilst he is a bit full of himself, he's not entirely unaware of how frustrating that is, and he genuinely seems like he's one of those uncles trying super hard to be cool, but actually does care.||

||Also digging how Hermes and Athena know what's going on. They've given me a few lines of dialogue where they infer they both know who Zag is actually looking for, and Athena definitely sees Zag as a route to reuniting her family, so I feel like Athena's clocked in away more than anyone else.||

||I've a bad feeling that the repeated deaths and constant blockage out of the underworld is Nyx. I've played the game enough to see dialogue now where all the Gods are aware there's some "cover of night" blocking Zagreus from making progress, in fact it was Poseidon who directly called that out as the same thing that's allegedly obscuring Zagreus from them. I think this is indicative of some "oh wow, that's really uncool Nyx." manipulation going on.||

Plus if it had the conversations arranged by what they pertain to rather than how they were heard chronologically, that'd be great. Can be a bit weird to have dialogue related to certain particular storylines be intercut by totally unrelated dialogues.

Plus in a game that boasts thousands of voice lines, it'd be a shame for most of them to only be heard once.

@mild field You just need to keep talking to both Orpheus and Eurydice and eventually an item will appear at the House Contractor that you'll need Diamonds to purchase. Once you do that, just talk to them a couple more times and you should be all good.
