Weird. I looked through the pins for the fourth aspects and it seems that it might be a bug. Need someone to test it though. It seems that only blood spent towards non-zag aspects count towards the five. I got the 4th rail aspect immediately after I forced a Zeus boon but when I maxed out Zag's sword aspect I didn't get any dialogue from nyx. Will try tomorrow to see what happens. Testing this by spending 5 blood on zag rail and 5 on eris rail. 5 blood on zag aspect didn't give me the prompt but spending it on eris aspect did so immediately.
This technically means if you max out the non-zag aspects of your weapons before you get Guan Yu, it might be possible to lock yourself out of the fourth aspects permanently. Would like some sort of confirmation

My sample size was pretty small though. I had 2 runs with spending blood on zag aspect rail and 2 runs with blood spent Eris rail. The two zag runs didn’t give me the dialogue (got one commenting about the Keepsake and the other one talking about how Zeus would escort Zagreus to Olympus). The two times I spent blood on Eris rail got me the aspect phrase the first time.

While I did like my Jarngreipr suggestion as one of the only mythical gauntlets anywhere, we already have two Legendaries from the European region (Arthur/Beowulf). We've got two Asian Legendaries (Guan Yu/Rama). Lucifer technically functions as Middle Eastern(?) since that's where Christianity began. So Egyptian rep for another bit of Middle East/sorta African Legendary would round out the Old World.

It may be some of a hot take, but I think that Lü Bu would have been a better choice for the fourth spear aspect than Guan Yu. Both are heroes from the same Three Kingdoms era, and their weapons are equally iconic (Guan Yu carried the Green Dragon Crescent Glaive, also called Frost Fair Blade, whereas Lü Bu wielded the Heavenly Phoenix Halberd, also called Skypiercer). Lü Bu was renowned for being a daredevil with a vicious fighting style.
Lü Bu has the added argument of committing patricide not once but twice, killing two adoptive fathers, especially the tyrant Dong Zhuo, who he offed Caesar-style. He is vilified for that because that's among the the gravest sins commitable in regards to Confucian morals, meaning he is more of a light-and-dark hero than Guan Yu, who has been lauded als a stalwart and unbendingly loyal moralist. But there's also L, so that's not much of an argument.

Given that context, I think Guan Yu works better for this game. All three of the mortal champion Aspects are celebrated in their homelands as righteous heroes. If Lu Bu is as vilified as you say, then his legend wouldn't fit for this game. As far as having a patricidal champion to mirror Zagreus, we already get that dialogue for using Lucifer. No need to double-dip.

I've even spoken to Hermes several times since doing it yet he hasn't said anything. Is it just a matter of random chance as to whether Hermes talks about it, or does successive mean beating Charon in two successive runs rather than beating him twice but with other runs between those fights? Getting 8888 Darkness was easy... it's easier if you alternate between weapons that are highlighted with purple/black. And get any Chaos boons that increases Darkness, Poseidon boons that increase darkness and/or rewards instant Darkness...
and you interact with any Troves that reward Darkness
I'd like to say, by the end of the run, you could get... 1200 Darkness on a blessed run.
