it's the longest stretch of immunity you can get (as far as I'm aware of) and immunity is king

artemis' call will save you all the time you'll spend being invincible with athena's call

hell, ares and poseidon also make you invulnerable and also deal damage to boot

melting your enemies' health bars before they can get a couple solid hits is

as far as with Hades fight goes if you still have trouble pick up some weapon you feel most comfortable with at the moment and run Aphrodite/Dio or Aphrodite/Artemis or or Aphrodite/Athena. Make sure your local god of speed and delivery comes by too and leaves you some dash related boons. Upgrade your mirror as much as you can too. And remember good Poseidon builds are a myth unless you are doing dash only run.

Sword can be okay at times, but it does admittedly suck when it comes to certain flying enemies in regions like Asphodel and Styx (Snakestones).

As for the house upgrades, I actually forget which ones require diamonds. I think I mostly focused on the soundtrack for the "Orpheus podium" before the rest of the house. I was happy to finally get ALL of the current House cosmetics after farming all the gems... and then I think the game revealed like two more that required 4500 gems, after just spending 3600 or so on those other two fancier columns for the Hall.

there's literally nothing else required for zeus's affection beyond getting specific convo from him and demeter about specific topics

so unless sgg wants to add in some way for us to double check over what dialogue we've gotten or give us some kind of checklist on the affection meter to help us keep track, it is impossible for anyone to tell what you're missing

I will admit that it's weird that I once unlocked Aphrodite's thing but then I go back, the save somehow reverted back, and now, I can't get hers to unlock again. Artemis, thankfully, is still unlocked and maxed out, so I don't have to keep FORCING her to talk about Callisto... but the Zeus/Demeter thing takes far too long for me that I feel like if I don't get both Zeus and Demeter before Asphodel, restart the run.

if you haven't seen two different cold fusion dialogue that may be your issue, as one is started by zeus and one is started by demeter, but really no one can tell you anything else, bc we've given you the needed info already. demeter needs certain convos related to her backstory, and some of the needed zeus lines require those to trigger but like. that's all I can tell you bc that's really all the requirement is

I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere (official source) there's currently a bug that prevents some players from unlocking Lady Aphrodite's affection, but that they're aware of. Don't remember where, though. Road map in the game maybe?

Demeter's Aspect makes using special feel nice from time to time. Just be hitting the enemy for every month that exists on the Gregorian calendar and then Zagreus explodes
