I'm not doubting it takes a lot of work, what I was trying to say was that given that there are number of interactable objects in Zag's room, along with the feature of having optional outfits for the main character is in many other games, it seemed like a teaser for things to come

cant speak for pyre since i only ever watched vids here and there to get a feel for the gameplay since i wasnt sure about it but i dont think alt costumes has been a feature in a sgg title thus far

honestly as far as alt outfits go the only thing i think would have been nice and fit with the theme of the game is alternating colour or something based on which ever god zag favours most in a run. like i remember an art from last year of aphrodite favoured zag, whose outfit wasnt just pink but his laurels had flowers iirc and stuff too. but yeah given how their engine works and every single frame of animation is a unique image, its an absolutely ridiculous amount of work

I think the way it works is that it's locked until you unlock an unknown number of conversation options with the other gods, and time and/or number of runs may be a factor.

so this is not a spoiler to the game but something i found interesting, but i happened over a reference from an ancient greek geographer by the name of pausanias who mentions the spartans having a cult of sorts based around thanatos and hypnos. doing some skimming through varying literary work and criticisms it seems its debated whether this cult existed, or whether pausanias had mistaken the statues for incorrect gods but 
could you just imagine. though realistically i couldnt imagine sgg than doing more than scoffing because mortals are ridiculous sometimes, and hypnos would make a quip about it that makes than feel exasperated lol
