How does leveling work vs rarity? How many levels on a boon before its considered "up" a rarity?

The game has a lot of events that only happen after you've beaten that boss, but also the nature of the game revolves around dying a lot. a lot. So just enjoy the ability to get more rewards and explore more of it in the meantime!

Can't speak for Pyre and Bastion but Transistor is such a great game

#

Uhh i think Bastion is also about bashing stuff, not sure there, I know Pyre is a bit like a sports game (?) but not at the same time, so you should ask around i think (people also say Pyre is godly and the best game by this studio)

But as for Transistor? Turn based (sort of, its kinda hard to explain but it has both classic battling and turns), story driven, a very beautiful style that mixes cyberpunk and art deco, and is a lot about love

the extra dialogue is usually just a handful of voice quips, nothing super important. like if you charm theseus he can suddenly shout I am smitten..! which was honestly funny, but i think theres a few different audio cues for everyone to being charmed

Otherwise, it's nothing you can directly interact with. I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be the method Hades uses to meet you at the surface, since it's very similar to the portals at the end of every Satyr tunnel in the Styx.

How do you mean? Whenever I start new runs with a different weapon, the pact kinda tell you what amount of heat you're at now when the gauge isn't full or is exceeded. During runs, you also have a constant reminder with a skull on the edge of the screen.

I meant like have the game remember what heat you need with each weapon. So like I'm on heat 6 for the sword but heat 2 for the bow but if I switch from the sword to the bow I have to alter the pact down to heat 2 for my run.

Just be easier if I head out with the bow it's set at my last heat 2 setting for the bow

but yeah there are a lot of options for bow so its hard to guess what direction they'll go in.... but shield, well known options outside of greek/arthurian stuff are el cid (whose shield didnt have a name like his sword i guess? im not seeing anything come up) and svallin, and idk what theyre looking at for fists so all i can guess is jarngreipr (which would push svallin out since they're both norse) so im calling that and will wait til update 😂

I've always been curious about something. Does Theseus actually like and respect Asterius or is he just sort of using him and forcing him to be at his side at all times. Cause while Asterius seems like he's always acting like he's a beast that needs to repent, Theseus does seem to hold him in some high regard even if the wording he uses a lot of the time is pretty pompus. what do you guys think?

I'm personally under the impression that Theseus does genuinely hold a bond with Asterius, just his own ego and glory hounding mucks up those concepts.

Theseus does hold Asterius in high regard.

I kinda-sorta-not-really take Achilles's musings in the Codex as canon, given they're often the only source of information on a lot of stuff in-game that we get.

#

Remember that (canonically, this isn't just Achilles's take) Asterius was supposed to go to Tartarus but Theseus brought Asterius with him to Elysium when Theseus died.

yeah i mean i honestly think Thesus does care about Asterius, it's just he's too vain to realize that his actions or words are really as insulting to him as they are. i honestly think that's really interesting, to have a character who on the surface seems like he's a pompous ass just using a defeated foe for more glory, but in reality is a pompous ass who legitimately wants to remain friends with a previous foe.
