I will express appreciation that Trials have changed a bit. At least, for when you spur Aphrodite, it's not a copy-paste of every other trial, where you avoid circles on the ground. Instead, you're bing chased by charming kisses in the shape of hearts. That temporarily paralyze you. 😄

Well maximum 69 chambers x 3 is 207 hp

To get the same healing you’d have to pick up 260 darkness

260 x .8 = 208 it’s a less consistent way to get healing when the only thing it provides is healing

If you get an extra cast from chaos, the recharging cast is pretty awesome

I think they added it so that boiling blood and boiling blood's alt could be more viable

you can get like 5-6 enemies with a cast stuck in them

You either take all three casts and dive deep everytime you kill something or you take less casts and have almost no strength until you get more ammo from artemis, charon shop, or chaos. Or get a cast dmg boon

This is just my guesstimate though I haven’t played with hera bow since the update, and I might switchover since chiron bow can’t get the special charge anymore

@lament shadow it’s a bit more than just talking to Nyx. Supposedly, you need Guan Yu unlocked and at least 5 bloods invested in leveling sword aspects. After that, keep getting through Nyx dialogue. That’s what I’ve seen said in channel a few times, have yet to get it myself.

the answer is basically "because the game is designed for multiple runs rather than doing everything in one run"

Every game I've ever played with that premise has the unlocks tied to feats you can accomplish across multiple runs that are concise and consistent

you know exactly when something will unlock

and then it will be unlocked

But it will happen randomly

So you don't know when you'll unlock it

Because if you were playing it for the first time I think the event triggers are simpler
