I think it's still better to complete the existing unfinished stories and maybe add some new ones, along with characters.. it's more interesting to make and quicker to finish.. since I guess it'll take a lot of time to debug and polish new locations, fights and mechanic.. more than 10 months

Plus, I wouldnt be surprised if the gods didnt really care. They like to kinda lead things on and then... just kinda do their own thing. I would expect Zag "escapes" and then they are like, oh wow you did it.... but uh.... yeah were full, and now we lost a bit of our sport. But the real thing is, Zag doesnt care about olympus, he wants to find his mother, so theres definitely some story room to play that instead of the cold ending of the gods being fickle. And Supergiant is very good in those grey areas, and always seem to have such a fantastic take on existential dillemas.

@nova turtle I'm close to it! I've already given all possible Nectars and Ambrosias, reached almost all upgrades from the Mirror (There's only some fated authoritys I still need to get), upgraded nearly all Keepsakes and Completely bought all there is to buy from the Lounge and the Bedchamber
Things I still need to finish
1 - 6 Fated authority ( 155 k Darkness needed)
2 - West Hall & Half of Main Hall Upgrades
3 - Buy the rest of the songs (most pricy songs)
4 - Forge a bond with Sisyphus (RNJesus doesn't seem to like me at all).
It's quite a few, especially the darkness one
But not nearly as much as completing the list of fates

@nova turtle I’ve unlocked nearly everything save for 3-4 fateds (I dislike darkness farming) maybe like 1.5k gems worth of cosmetic upgrades, and my own personal goal of 32 heat on every weapon. But I found that once I had nothing to unlock, that drive to do just one more run wasn’t there any more, so I had to start Hell Mode. I think I’ll legitimately just start a 3rd file once I’ve gone through hell mode because it’s nice to always be working towards something

@nova turtle what do you mean by "unlocked everything"? do you mean all aspects of every weapon? sure, plenty of people (including me). or are you including codex plus all contractor options?
and yes, there are people that have unlocked even all the fated authority options which is frankly ridiculous but they've been playing like mad and have pretty much mastered the game...the only thing left is to beat the game on max heat plus hell mode (for a total of 50 heat) which will basically qualify as a Guinness World Record achievement if/when it finally happens.

so for instance, if someone is relying on rail with artemis attack on the 3rd aspect (the one that sets damage to 150 after manual reload), player has to get epic tier to start off with and stack it with poms and also get perfect duo boons

You have to run into him several more times during runs and win before you can keep giving him gifts.
It'll pop a cutscene, after which you'll be able to give the next tier of stuff, Ambrosia. Just takes a while.
